–The Irving-Las Colinas Rotary Club will meet at noon today at Las Colinas Country Club, 4400 N. O’Connor Blvd. Mike Lambert will talk about the Patriot Guard.
–The city’s Planning and Development Committee will meet at 5 p.m. today at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.

–The Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd., presents a program at 7 p.m. today on “Bright Young Things” with author Anna Godbersen. Free.
–Irving High School’s Theater Department presents A Midsummer’s Night Dream at 7 p.m. today and Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Black Box Theater at the school, 900 O’Connor Road. Performances will also be Oct. 24-26. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
